What makes GCF meal plans different from others?
At GCF, we prioritize high-quality ingredients, including ethically sourced proteins and homemade sauces crafted to enhance flavor and nutrition. Unlike other meal plan companies, we don’t skimp on portion sizes. With our Essentials plan, you’ll receive generous portions, including at least 7oz of protein in every meal. For those on the Precise Fuel plan, your meals are fully customized to fit your unique goals and preferences, designed by performance chefs and nutrition experts to fuel your success.
How do I choose the right meal plan for me?
We offer multiple meal plans because we know one size doesn’t fit all. Our Essentials Plan is perfect for those looking to simplify their day, make healthier choices, or simply enjoy good food. The Precise Fuel Plan is tailored for everyday or professional athletes with specific goals in mind or for picky eaters who want more control over their meals. This fully customizable plan is designed to help you achieve your goals. Lastly, our Build Your Own Fuel option offers the most flexibility, allowing you to select individual meal components for yourself or your family, with no subscriptions or onboarding—just pick your meals and fuel up.
Do I need to sign a subscription for meal plans?
We offer both! Our Essential Plan and Build Your Own Fuel plan is a one-time purchase each time you check out. The Precise Plan is a subscription plan with the flexibility to pause or cancel at any time with at least 72 hours notice before your next meal plan delivery date.
Can I skip or pause my meal plan?
Yes! You're in control of your plan with the Essentials Plan and Build Your Own Fuel plan on a weekly basis.
For Precise Fuel Plan Members, we require at least 72 hours' notice to make any changes or cancellations for a refund or no charge. This gives our team enough time to shop, prepare, and execute meal plans efficiently, minimizing food waste. If changes are made after the 72-hour window, they may not be guaranteed, and a partial refund could apply.
How long do the meals stay fresh?
Our meals are designed to stay fresh for up to 4 days when properly refrigerated, with twice-weekly deliveries ensuring the best quality and taste. Some meals can also be frozen up to 90 days, though it is not generally recommended to maintain the highest quality.
Do you offer any nutrition support from dietitians or nutritionists?
Yes, we take pride in having a highly experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) on staff to answer all your nutrition-related questions! Whether you're looking for guidance on a new supplement for the gym or need to dive deeper into your micronutrient needs, our dietitian is here to support you every step of the way. All clients receive one free dietetic consultation, while Essential plan members can pay for additional access to RD counseling. Precise Fuel members enjoy full dietitian access throughout the duration of their plan. You can also find additional knowledge available to the public through our blog, which is also written by our registered dietitian
Are your meals suitable for specific dietary needs?
Our Precise Plan is a great option for those who need tailored meals. We offer a wide range of options, including dairy-free, vegan, gluten-free, and other dietary preferences to ensure you stay on track with your goals. Our registered dietitian can also work one-on-one with patients in need of Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). Our chefs always take allergies into account with the utmost seriousness. Upon reviewing your intolerances, our registered dietitian will guide you toward the best plan to fit your needs, ensuring your meals are both safe and delicious.
How do I reheat the meals?
Our meals come with simple reheating instructions to ensure they taste just as great when you’re ready to enjoy them. Most can be reheated for 90 seconds in the microwave or 10-15 minutes in the oven. We recommend taking the meal out of the container during heating for best results.
